Where are you on the Cardinals and their version of tanking so far?

They are l- looking at Arch Manning w- salivating.

Like, they’ve got drool coming out of their mouth looking at Arch Manning, hoping that that’s their next quarterback.

Because Fitz, in our post-show meeting yesterday, I was talking to the guys and I’m, I’m thinking like, “Wait, who am Am I having an epic brain fart, or why can I not remember who in the world is the Cardinals’ quarterback this upcoming season?”

I’m like, I know I lived 37 lives in the last week, but why is this not coming to me?

And I’m like, wait, it’s because the Cardinals didn’t do anything at the quarterback position.

It’s ’cause they’re running it back with Jacoby Brissett and signing Gardner Minshew, which by the way, will be the best cheddar in the valley.

I mean, just look at that man’s hair.

It’s incredible.

but it’s because the Cardinals didn’t do anything this year.

It’s because I think the Cardinals are kind of following the same path that the Jets are following, which normally is a very scary path to be following, but it’s let’s not invest a whole lot of money into the quarterback position, and let’s hope that we are bad enough to find our quarterback of the future in next year’s draft.

And we’re also going to hold onto Marvin Harrison Jr., so our young quarterback has in a, a go-to certified number one receiver.

The dangerous thing with that is we just talked about three teams who are, on the, the march for Arch.

Arch Manning can only go to one team.

Let’s not forget that.

I think that the difference between next year’s draft and this year’s draft, which I think is a very dangerous game to play whenever you’re projecting for a year out because everything can change within the course of a college football season, but next year’s quarterback draft feels much deeper than this past year’s.

It’s really just Fernando Mendoza and everybody else this year.

But remember, Dante Moore did not declare for this year’s draft.

Dante Moore will be in next year’s draft.

So you already have another option that feels much better than the Drew Allers, Cade Klubnicks, and the Garrett Nessmeyers of this year’s draft.

So there is at least a deeper quarterback draft right now as of March 19th for next year, but everybody’s trying to get Arch Manning, a little piece of Arch Manning for next year.

And not every team can get him.

It’s just which team can out-suck the other ones.

And if the question is who’s gonna out-suck the other ones, right now I think it’s the Cardinals.

It’s really easy to say that the Jets are going to be the worst team in the NFL next year because the Jets are almost always the worst team in the NFL.

But I look at the Cardinals’ division, and I look at six automatic losses right there and a very uninspiring roster.

So if anybody is out-tanking the others, I think Arizona’s in the lead
