Aaron Rodgers to the Vikings rumors have found a second wind — but one former NFL QB isn’t sold.

Colin Cowherd’s podcast, former QB Matt Hasselbeck explained that while Minnesota may be an intriguing landing spot for Rodgers — it simply isn’t happening:

“Yeah, I’ve been seeing the reports that Aaron Rodgers would prefer Minnesota. Who would not? Like, everyone would — great play caller, great head coach, great skill around you, amazing defense on the other side of the ball. Yeah, I get it. But they seem to be already settled on J.J. McCarthy as their quarterback.”

Hasselbeck would explain that the QB free agency market is like musical chairs — and the music has all but stopped, leaving Pittsburgh as the only available option for Rodgers:

“Aaron Rodgers is going to be with the Pittsburgh Steelers. All this other about all these other teams, it’s not happening.”

If Rodgers truly wanted to put the rumors and speculation to bed — he would have to sign the dotted line with the Steelers, a notion that even his biggest critics in the Steel City would appreciate, as they’d finally be saved for this seemingly never-ending waiting game.
