The San Francisco 49ers added to their wide receiver room on Monday, agreeing to sign former Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk. The 29-year-old from Texas A & M will be entering his ninth NFL season this fall. In 2025, Kirk had 28 catches for 239 yards and one touchdown. He appeared in 13 games during his only season for the Texans. Kirk had previous stops in Jacksonville and Arizona.

San Francisco also signed punter Corliss Waitman, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos. Last season, while with the Steelers, Waitman averaged 45.5 yards per punt, with a net average of 41.7 yards per punt. The 30-year-old punter has played in only four NFL seasons.
