NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The new Nissan Stadium is less than a year away from opening in Nashville.
The new home of the Tennessee Titans is set to be completed in February 2027.
In the latest tour for media on Tuesday, Titans President and Chief Executive Officer Burke Nihill shared that the project is on schedule and the roof will be affixed by September 2026.
Nihill said the Titans focused on player and fan experience with the new facility.
“There’s paint on the walls, there’s dry wall up in spaces, and certain areas that still have steel frames going up and as you look around here, there’s a lof concrete,” Nihill said Tuesday.
“Every day with 2,000 people on site, something changes. It has been reported to me that when the roof becomes sealed tight, probably in September of this year, we can really get started on the finishes that will bring this building to life.”

The new Titans locker room has 67 fixed lockers for players and will have the ability to flex the space to accommodate up to 95 players, which will fit the entire preseason roster. Nihill added that the physical lockers will be 150% bigger than the current lockers in Nissan Stadium.
The new stadium will have 44 elevators compared to just four in the current building, it will have double the amount of bathrooms, and seats for fans will be 38% closer to the action.
It also features 360° concourses and a two-story, 11,000-square foot team store.
The Titans also added a stage in the lower bowl of the stadium, which will border a mosh pit, that super fans had to submit an application to be considered for.
The arena will have 55,000 square feet of video boards on the upper levels as well as a massive rooftop bar with riverfront views.
