The Tennessee Titans still have more than enough money to sign another free agent of note in the open market.

The Titans have $63.49 million in cap space — more than any other team in the NFL as things currently stand. Tennessee has room to add another franchise pillar at wide receiver, or one at tight end this offseason.

According to Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport, there’s no better match for the Titans among all of the remaining top free agents than linebacker Bobby Okereke.

“The 29-year-old would be a stabilizing force on a Titans defense that will feature a ton of new faces in 2026,” Davenport said. “And the Titans have the cash to easily absorb his contract without jeopardizing their long-term financial flexibility.”

Okereke’s numbers were up last season as a member of the New York Giants, having recorded his first interception since 2023, finishing the year with two. The Stanford product also registered six passes defensed in 2025. However, the Giants thought it best to release their former defensive captain last winter.

The Titans have the opportunity to strike a deal with Okereke this spring while still having a large sum of money to spend after hitting home runs with signings including Wan’Dale Robinson as well as John Franklin-Myers. A reunion between Okereke, as well as new Titans cornerback Cor’Dale Flott, who the team also signed in free agency, is also what a signing of this sort will breed in Tennessee.
