LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Culinary union members are planning to picket Allegiant Stadium tonight, targeting Oak View Group, the company that runs food and beverage inside the venue.
Hundreds of union members and OVG workers are expected to march outside the stadium on Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., then deliver a petition signed by more than 200 workers.
They say even though Allegiant Stadium has been named the highest-grossing stadium in the country, the people cooking, serving and pouring drinks inside aren’t getting what they call the “Las Vegas standard.” That means job security, bigger raises and strong health benefits.
The Culinary Union says Oak View Group took over a contract covering more than 730 cooks, servers, bartenders and concession workers in early 2025, and negotiations for a new deal have been dragging on since last summer.
Union leaders are calling on OVG to “step up” and agree to a contract they say matches what workers get at other major Las Vegas resorts.
Picketers will be outside Allegiant Stadium on Al Davis Way.
