Brock Bowers had one of the most spectacular plays of the 2025 NFL season for the Las Vegas Raiders.

With 7:49 left to play in the fourth quarter of Raiders’ 31-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13, Bowers made a breathtaking one-handed touchdown grab on a pass from quarterback Geno Smith that was nearly thrown too low in the end zone.

Smith’s throw looked like it was bound to hit the turf for an incompletion, but Bowers was able to corral the ball with his left arm while maintaining possession after hitting the ground to put Las Vegas on the board for the final time on the day.

The play was among the best of the year, not only for the Raiders, but across the league.

Bowers was perhaps the Raiders’ most reliable target in the passing game last season. He finished second on the team in receiving yards with 680, falling just 17 yards short of being Las Vegas’ leading man on the year. Bowers only played in 12 games, eight of which he started, as compared to the Raiders’ leader in REC yards, Tre Tucker, who went for 696 yards across all 17 games played.
