The Atlanta Falcons officially signed quarterback Trevor Siemian to their roster on Wednesday evening. The veteran backup has made 33 NFL starts but spent the last two seasons on the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.
Siemian gives the Falcons a quality third-string quarterback to get through the offseason programs while Michael Penix Jr. completes his rehab. The 34-year-old has put together a nice career for a former seventh-round pick.

Since entering the league with Denver Broncos in 2015, Siemian has passed for 7,751 yards, 44 touchdowns and 32 interceptions over 40 games for four different teams.
After spending three seasons with the Broncos (2015-2017), he spent one year with the New York Jets (2019), one year with the New Orleans Saints (2021), and one year with the Chicago Bears (2022) before returning to the Jets in 2023.
Siemian now joins Penix and Tua Tagovailoa in Atlanta’s revamped QB room. Check out the Falcons’ updated roster below (free-agent additions in bold).
