4. BYU Cougars standout
A three-year starter with the BYU Cougars, Wilson finished his collegiate career completing 566 of his 837 passes for 7,652 yards with 56 touchdowns. He added 212 rushing attempts for 642 yards and 15 touchdowns. Wilson played in 30 career games with 28 starts and became the youngest freshman quarterback to ever start for the Cougars.
In his final season with the Cougars in 2020, he ranked No. 2 nationally in points responsible for (264), passing efficiency (196.4) and completion percentage (73.5) as well as No. 3 in passing yards (3,692), passing touchdowns (33), and yards per pass attempt (10.99). His 73.5% completion percentage set a new single season record for Brigham Young, surpassing Steve Young.
5. Corner Canyon High School Star
A native of Draper, Utah, Wilson prepped at Corner Canyon High School. In his senior year with the Chargers, he passed for 2,986 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 752 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named 5A MVP and was selected first-team all-state, leading the school to an 11-1 record, the 5A state semifinals and a region championship. He also played varsity basketball in high school.
