Cap space is a luxury that the Tennessee Titans are not short of in free agency.

Tennessee has an abundance of money to spend this spring — $63.2 million to be specific. Wide receiver is one of the positions that the Titans have the most need for.

Primary wide receivers do not come cheap. However, Stefon Diggs is still available in the free agent market.

A 1,000-yard season in 2025 as well as a trip to the Super Bowl are Diggs’ calling cards in the open market. Questions over his age detract from his value. Nonetheless, the former first-team All-Pro wide receiver matches well with what the Titans need for next season.

Diggs strikingly registered an 83.3 percent catch rate last season. That was the third time in the last four seasons that the Maryland native had a catch rate above 70 percent. The 2025 season was also the third time that Diggs ever did so in a season where he went for 1,000 yards.

The Titans have Calvin Ridley as their main option on the outside. The addition of Wan’Dale Robinson in free agency gives Tennessee a 1,000-yard receiver out of the slot. Elic Ayomanor was the Titans’ leading wide receiver last year with 515 yards. Chimere Dike followed right behind him with 423 yards of his own.

Ayomanor, as well as Dike, have promise as young weapons in the Titans’ offense. However, Diggs serves as a remedy on paper for some of Tennessee’s woes last season. The do-it-all receiver sounds like what Cam Ward stands to benefit from when under pressure at all three phases next season.
