The Lions got a 4th-round pick (plus more) in the trade of David Montgomery. They could very likely use that pick on a replacement. Roman Hemby is an option projected to go in that range. He’s a bit older than ideal, but has otherwise been very reliable.

Hemby has shown fantastic reliability in college with no reports of injury. The main concern is an older age which is more of an issue at the RB position.
