After spending his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens, veteran cornerback Marlon Humphrey could be in a new uniform before the start of the 2026 season. According to PFF, the source predicts the Ravens may entertain the idea of dealing Humphrey in a trade during the NFL Draft. With the recent investments in the secondary and the team getting younger, it’s understandable why Baltimore could be moving on. Humphrey is a four-time Pro Bowler and led the league in forced fumbles in 2020, but he’s taken a step back in his career. Unfortunately for him, the cornerback isn’t the same as he used to be despite playing and starting in all 15 games during the 2025 regular season.
Still, the cornerback finished a previous and most recent season at his best with 67 combined tackles (50 solo), set a career-high with 15 pass deflections, made a career-high six interceptions, made two forced fumbles, and scored one touchdown in 16 games and 16 starts.
New Regime Ravens Predicted to Trade Two-Time All-Pro Marlon Humphrey During 2026 NFL Draft – 3 Suitors Emerge
With Jesse Minter stepping in as head coach, it won’t be a surprise if he makes a few shocking trades to rebuild the team he wants. Humphrey is turning 30 in July and entering the final year of his contract; he’s likely to be a hot trade candidate. The cornerback won’t fetch the best draft capital, but it should be enough for the Ravens to move him. After signing safety Jaylinn Hawkins and backup Chidobe Awuzie to new deals before Humphrey, it tells you that Baltimore is still deciding on Humphrey’s future.
If the Ravens select a cornerback during the first round of this year’s draft, the time ticks for Humphrey. Baltimore could get an early draft pick along with multiple future picks for the veteran if they deal him.
Potential Destinations
Dallas Cowboys
After making some moves in free agency, it’s just not enough for the Dallas Cowboys as far as the secondary game. They can’t afford to lean on dirt-cheap veterans who are likely to make little to no impact. The team brought in PJ Locke and starting safety Jalen Thompson, but they have major work to do in the cornerback room. Derion Kendrick and Cobie Durant won’t get this team in the Super Bowl, so if Jerry Jones wants to truly bust the budget, he should get Humphrey to help DaRon Bland become special again.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are aiming to appear in the postseason once again, and signing defensive standout Jaelan Phillips opens up their championship window. After adding Tershawn Wharton and Tre’Von Moehrig just last offseason, the team continues to rebuild a solid defense to help Bryce Young get more opportunities to stay on the field. Humphrey is no god, but he could be the perfect fit to lift Michael Jackson to the next level alongside Jaycee Horn.
Philadelphia Eagles
Despite the Eagles losing Reed Blankenship in the safety area, the team focused on retaining their cornerback group and added Tariq Woolen on a one-year deal. However, as aggressive as GM Howie Roseman has been, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Eagles and Ravens revisit another trade deal. Baltimore sent Jaire Alexander to Philadelphia, but he didn’t play a snap after deciding to step away from football.
The Eagles still have depth concerns behind Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell. If the Eagles add Humphrey for a true Super Bowl run in 2026, this would be easier for the Eagles to move on from Kelee Ringo and Jakorian Bennett.
