Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are not having the best offseason. After finishing the 2025 campaign with a 9-7-1 record and falling to the Chicago Bears in the playoffs, the team lost several key members in free agency.

Even CBS Sports noted that the Packers are one of the teams that “lost the most” in free agency following the departures of backup QB Malik Willis, WR Romeo Doubs, OL Rasheed Walker, DE Kingsley Enagbare and LB Quay Walker, among several others.

Despite the concerning trend for Green Bay, Love still has a reason to be happy and excited about his future, at least on a more personal level.

It’s worth noting that Love’s wife, Ronika Stone, is pregnant with their first baby. The couple announced the news in early January, sharing photos of Stone showing her baby bump along with a sonogram of their kid.

Both Love and Stone are clearly excited to welcome their baby. The couple had a baby shower in late February. Furthermore, Stone posed in a swimsuit photoshoot, proudly showing her baby bump.

On Sunday, however, Love’s wife made a personal admission about her experience so far as she prepares to become a first-time mother. People have apparently been calling her “mama” and “mommas,” and while she tried to just “stay silent” about it, she simply didn’t like being called that.

With that said, Stone asked her fans, friends and followers not to call her those anymore.

“I’ve tried to stay silent on this but I need to speak my truth..(i know it’s all love but) please don’t call me mama or mommas,” Stone wrote. “I’m really not a fan.”

Stone didn’t provide an explanation for why she didn’t like it. Regardless, she made her preference clear.

Love and Stone got engaged in June 2024 and tied the knot one year later, in June 2025.
