The Arizona Cardinals have done some work this offseason in free agency, but have not improved their roster much. At most positions, they could and probably should add players in the NFL draft.
But looking at each position, where in the draft should they be looking? While teams always want to stick to their draft board, sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to draft a position early.
We will look at each position group and determine what need level the Cardinals have — is it in Round 1? Is it on Day 2? What about Day 3?
Let’s look at wide receiver.
Cardinals draft need level: Wide receiver
The Cardinals let Greg Dortch go, and they signed Kendrick Bourne to a two-year contract. Bourne is a solid No. 3 option. They could do more.

However, the receiver room’s year will be made based on the play of Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson. Harrison needs to break out in 2026, and Wilson needs to show he can produce even when Harrison is on the field.
If Wilson gets a contract extension this offseason, then they have some stability moving forward.
Can they do better? Yes, but they are solid in 2026.
Draft need/priority: They could add a receiver. Ideally, they can get someone on Day 3 to add to their depth, as none of their other recent young receivers have developed much. Perhaps Round 3, but probably Day 3.
