PHOENIX — By this time next month, the Tennessee Titans will have the 2026 NFL Draft in the books. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah provided his thoughts on how the club can continue to build around 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward.

Tennessee certainly has options.

Offensive options at No. 4 overall

Make no mistake, the Titans need blue-chip players at any position.

Ward desperately needs help at every position on offense, including in front of him on the line. While Tennessee did add receiver Wan’Dale Robinson and tight end Daniel Bellinger to play meaningful roles this year, high-end skill help is something the Titans still lack. This year’s draft class has two near-consensus top options that general manager Mike Borgonzi could pick from at No. 4 overall.

Assuming both Notre Dame running back Jeremyiah Love and Ohio State wide out Carnell Tate are both still available by then.

“I’m a little surprised I haven’t heard that question starting at Pick No. 2.,” Jeremiah said of the Titans potentially taking Tate. “if you’re thinking about the Jets and their thought process of trying to lay the foundation for their quarterback that they would add in 2027. When you’re ranked as my sixth-best player, people and teams are going to have it a little different here or there, but that’s absolutely in the range in the ballpark if you’re picking No. 4. I mean, without question, they’re doing their homework on him and I’d applaud it if they did it.”

While Tate might not be the most talented of the Ohio State receiver prospects to go pro in the last decade, he would immediately be the most talented option for Ward.

In 39 games for the Buckeyes, Tate caught 121 passes for 1,872 yards and 14 touchdowns. 103 of those receptions and 13 scores came in his last two seasons as his role in the offense grew. The Junior measured in at 6’ 2,’’ 192 lbs at the NFL Scouting Combine with 31 3/4” arms and 10 1/4’’ hands.
