One of the most underrated annual traditions of the NFL draft is the unveiling of a new hat design across the league.

All 32 teams have their own edition of a new hat theme designed for that year’s draft. These are the hats that will be worn by any players who are drafted by the team, whether they are present or at home.

On Monday, the Jets’ 2026 draft hat was unveiled, along with the rest of the league. Here is what New York’s new young building blocks will be wearing on-stage or with their families around the country.

We have seen some ambitious draft hat designs over the years, but the league opted for a simple approach this year. Each team’s hat features a large primary logo with a silver, metallic outline.

Each hat also includes a 2026 NFL Draft pin on the front.

Another interesting detail is the inclusion of themed designs inside each hat, typically reflecting the culture of the franchise or its city.

While some teams featured full graphics emblematic of their city’s culture, such as the Atlanta Falcons’ peach trees or the Denver Broncos’ Rocky Mountains, the Jets took a minimalistic route, simply featuring their current alternate logo and the old-school “jumbo jet” logo that was their primary symbol when they were first re-named to the Jets in 1963.

Every Jets fan will tell you, though, that they could not care less what the hat looks like, as long as it is being worn by someone who can help the team win football games.
