After just one game, Giacomini revealed on his Instagram page that he’s been let go.

Giacomini was with the Seahawks from 2010 through 2013, ending his time in Seattle with a Super Bowl ring as the team’s starting right tackle. Sometimes his physical style during the play would spill over to post-whistle, and on the odd occasion there would be a personal foul penalty against him and/or the opposition.

This was Giacomini’s first coaching job since his NFL days ended in 2018, and it was also a homecoming as a University of Louisville alum. The reasoning for his departure was never articulated by Breno and no official statement has come from the Kings.
