Aaron Rodgers, where art thou?
The 42-year-old might not even play football next season and could end up never being seen again as he lives off the grid in the wilderness, but the future Hall of Famer is still at the forefront of NFL headlines as April begins.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have allegedly given Rodgers until the NFL Draft to decide whether he wants to play for the franchise, but that’s not the only team possibly interested in the grizzled gunslinger.
The Denver Broncos, whose young franchise quarterback, Bo Nix, is coming off a broken ankle, have also been rumored to be interested in Rodgers in the past 24 hours.
But if Rodgers wants a true shot at a second ring, his best chance might be even farther west than Denver.
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay isn’t shy about being transparent. In a recent media interview, he outright admitted that the team had the league leader in touchdown catches, Davante Adams, on the trade block before deciding otherwise.

McVay also said that the team is still figuring out their backup QB situation in L.A., with Kirk Cousins and Jimmy Garoppolo both under consideration for the job.
McVay and general manager Les Snead want someone they can entrust with the best offense in football if reigning MVP Matthew Stafford goes down for any reason.
Could it be the perfect partnership between the Rams and Rodgers?
For Rodgers, he gets to take a step back from the full responsibilities as a starter, while still getting to practice alongside the best offense he’s been a part of for over a decade.
In return, the Rams get a player they know can step in if needed for Stafford, who has battled injuries before and is only getting older after just turning 38.
With the Steelers’ NFL Draft deadline approaching, it opens the window for the Rams to possibly steal Rodgers if he is willing to play another season.
If Rodgers’ ultimate goal is to win one more ring before retirement, the best chance isn’t in Pittsburgh or Denver.
It’s in Los Angeles, alongside Matthew Stafford, to create the strongest (and oldest) one-two QB punch in football.
