The Atlanta Falcons are set to unveil their new uniforms for the 2026 NFL season on Thursday, April 2. It has been six years since the team last tweaked its uniforms, and the red gradient variation was so unpopular that it was taken out of the rotation in 2023.
It’s safe to say the Falcons are overdue for an updated design. Fans have been calling for a change since the last uniform release, and they will finally get their wish this Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET.
Falcons president of football Matt Ryan gave the new uniforms his stamp of approval during an interview with Kay Adams earlier this week
“It’s like a two-year process to get these uniforms,” said Ryan. “First you’ve got to get it approved. You’ve got to say you’re going to make a change, then there’s an approval process and all this stuff. So this was going on long before I got there. I will say this: I approve.”
