DETROIT – If there’s one thing we know about Detroit Lions fans, it’s that they are very very passionate. And we express that passion in many unique, creative and mature ways.
Also, through swearing. Shocker, I know.
A new study from Bookies analyzed user comments from each of the 32 official NFL subreddits posted since the start of the 2024 NFL season to calculate what fans swear the most.
The New York Jets were ranked first, with 15.4% posts containing swear words. Robert Saleh may have had something to do with that.
Detroit Lions fans came in at No. 10, with 10.3% posts containing swear words.
The results shouldn’t be surprising, considering… everything. Also, a study in 2024 found that Detroit is one of the most foul-mouthed cities on the planet.
Other Midwestern teams in the top 10 are the Chicago Bears at No. 5 and the Cleveland Browns at No. 7.
