The Ravens have had a relatively quiet offseason since the drama of the Maxx Crosby trade fallout, but could make some noise with the return of a former player. Edge rusher Jadaveon Clowney is a free agent, and after a good season with the Dallas Cowboys, could be a perfect fit for the Ravens, who are still in the market for a pass rusher. The 33-year-old had a career-best 9.5 sacks with the Ravens in 2023, and is coming off 8.5 sacks in only 13 games with the Cowboys. Clowney recently stated in an interview on social media that he would reunite with the Ravens, a post that Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson commented “Definitely.””They take pride in their defense. I enjoyed the locker room (and) the guys that were in the locker room were an extremely fun group of guys. A lot of leaders on that team and a lot of guys that respect the game of football.” Clowney said. “Definitely, would be open to going back to Baltimore, playing with Lamar. It was a great time for me.”He would also fit the Ravens financially, as he signed a 1-year deal worth only $3.5 million with the Cowboys and could sign a similar deal with the Ravens. He would also be a good fit personnel-wise as he would be a part-time player and would allow the development of young edge rushers like Mike Green and Tavius Robinson.
