Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has suddenly become a player to monitor in trade speculation.

When Jalen Hurts shrugged off a frustrating 2023 season and led the Eagles to a Super Bowl 59 championship last year, it should have cemented his long-term future in Philadelphia. But life comes at you fast in the NFL.

Earlier this week, ESPN published a shocking report indicating that Hurts had become a problem in the locker room. Specifically, Hurts reportedly had problems with proposed changes to the Eagles’ offense and oftentimes moved away from the game plan.

With Hurts under the microscope again in Philadelphia, it’s easy to wonder if he’s on borrowed time. Carson Wentz was out of Philly in 2021, three years after a career year. Former head coach Doug Pederson was fired three years after leading them to a Super Bowl title, too.

Andrew Holleran of The Spun listed the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins as teams that could trade for Jalen Hurts.
