MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota-based U.S. Bank is partnering with the largest sports league in the United States.
The company announced Tuesday a multi-year partnership with the NFL to become a “new official bank and wealth management sponsor,” according to a joint press release. The partnership will include U.S. Bank becoming a sponsor for the upcoming Super Bowl and the NFL FLAG Championships, which will be held in Westfield, Indiana, from July 23 to July 26.

U.S. Bank is headquartered in Minneapolis and has partnerships with the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers. As a league partner, U.S. Bank will provide financial education expertise as the NFL looks to modernize its approach to player financial empowerment, the release reads. The initiative will held athletes “navigate the realities of professional football.”
