Robinson finished the game with seven carries for 19 yards and the touchdown. He also caught two passes for eight yards.

Robinson was originally signed by the Kings in early March, but was released during roster cutdowns. The Kings re-signed Robinson just recently.

James Robinson’s Jaguars career

Robinson went undrafted in 2020 out of Illinois State, but quickly carved out an important role with the Jaguars that season, which included rushing for 1,070 yards as a rookie with seven touchdowns. Robinson was also active in the passing game, hauling in 49 receptions for 344 yards with three more touchdowns.

Unfortunately, an Achilles injury in 2021 derailed another productive season. Through 14 games, Robinson totaled 767 yards on the ground with eight rushing touchdowns, per PFF.

In 2022, the Jaguars traded Robinson to the New York Jets. He would average just 3.9 yards per rush that year on 110 attempts, scoring five total touchdowns.

Robinson then spent time with the Patriots, Giants, Packers, and Saints. He last appeared in an NFL game with Green Bay during the 2023 season.
