ESPN: AJ Brown likely to be traded to New England Patriots

MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A potential NFL trade involving the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is gaining attention.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brown will likely to be traded to the New England Patriots on or after June 1.

Schefter reported the Patriots remain at the forefront of trade discussions, though another team could still emerge before any deal is finalized.

If a trade is made, Brown’s $40 million salary would be split between this year and next, ESPN reported.

Brown has been a key contributor for the Eagles since joining the team in 2022 and won a Super Bowl with Philadelphia in 2025.
