There is obvious buzz this week surrounding potential landing spots for the incoming rookies. However, there could be some impactful veterans ending up on new teams as well during or shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft. By no means are the below players expected to end up elsewhere, but there’s reason to believe that each of them could. If so, there would be a significant impact on their fantasy football value as well as others.
Starting things off with Tony Pollard leans into the idea that the Tennessee Titans will use the fourth overall pick on Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love. If they do, 29-year-old Pollard could ask for his release or to be moved elsewhere. Pollard is heading into the final year of his contract, has strung together four-straight seasons of 1,000-plus yards rushing, and has averaged 4.4 yards per carry since the 2022 season. Tyjae Spears could be the odd man out here, too. He’s entering the final year of his rookie contract and may be more of an enticing trade piece.
