It’s gonna be pretty exciting to go out there and see the unveiling of the 2026 Browns quarterback competition.

the top two contenders again are Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders.

we’ve seen Deshaun throwing to the likes of Jerry Jeudy down in Florida.

We’ve heard that Shedeur Sanders stuck around here in the off-season, really worked on improving his conditioning and the composition of his body and things like that, getting to know the playbook.

So these guys have a new offense.

Todd Monken will be out there coaching them for the first time, and, and it’s game on for these guys.

Before we get in deeper into specifics about those two and some other things that you’re looking at mini camp today, I wanna go back and acknowledge a quarterback’s name that we did not mention.

Just last year, the Browns’ third round pick, Dillon Gabriel, not in this kind of two-headed quarterback race.

What’s the latest that we’ve heard, about Dillon Gabriel, and what do you expect his future to be?

Well, it does seem like it’s a two-man race right now between Deshaun and Shedeur, but the Browns have not counted out Dillon Gabriel, and here’s why I think he actually might make a little noise in this mini camp.

Now, it’s only open to us today, but I think he’s actually going to look very, very good in this mini camp because the thing about Dillon Gabriel is that he has a computer-like brain.

He processes very, very quickly, and I think he’s probably, going to have picked up Todd Monken’s offense really, really well.

I think he’ll be able to play and operate very quickly out there today, and I think he’s gonna basically raise his hand and say, “Don’t forget about me.”

So he ha- he was thrown into a tough situation last season, starting his first game in London, then having to go to Pittsburgh, and it was just a really, really difficult offense and a not a very good supporting cast.

So I think that, Dillon will say, “Don’t count me out.”
