The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that the team has re-signed running back Sean Tucker.

Tucker (5-10, 205) has appeared in 45 career games for the Buccaneers, totaling 151 rushes for 651 rushing yards (4.3 yards per carry) and nine rushing touchdowns to go with 19 receptions for 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was 1-of-3 running backs in the 2025 season to have at least 100 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards and three total touchdowns in a game when he accomplished the feat in Week 11 at Buffalo. Tucker also earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors in Week 6 of the 2024 season, amassing 192 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns at New Orleans. Over the past three seasons, Tucker’s 803 yards from scrimmage are the third-most among all undrafted players with fewer than 200 touches during that span.

He originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Buccaneers following the 2023 NFL draft. The Owing Mills, Maryland, native played three collegiate seasons at Syracuse University (2020-22), appearing in 33 career games, including 31 starts, logging 589 rushes for 3,182 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and 27 touchdowns. He earned first team All-American honors in 2021, was a two-time Maxwell and Doak Walker Award watch list member and multiple-time All-ACC selection. He broke the program’s single-season rushing yards record (1,496) in 2021.
