The Buffalo Bills will have a special guest on-hand in Pittsburgh when the Bills are on the clock in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Former Bills linebacker Shane Conlan will make the walk up to the podium and announce the team’s third-round draft selection on Friday, April 24 live from Pittsburgh.
Conlan, a Western New York native from Frewsburg, N.Y., was the Bills’ first-round selection back in 1987. He was the eighth overall pick in the draft out of Penn State.
Bills fans will remember Conlan’s contributions to Buffalo’s defense from 1987-1992, earning the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year (’87) and three Second-team All-Pro selections ( ’87, ’88, ’90).
Conlan is a member of the Bills 50th Season All-Time Team and a member of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.
Conlan joins a select group of Bills legends to announce a pick at the NFL Draft. QB Jim Kelly, WR Andre Reed, DE Bruce Smith, RB Fred Jackson, OL Eric Wood, WR Stevie Johnson, S Aaron Williams and WR Lee Evans among others have announced Bills draft picks in prior seasons.
