The 2025 season did not go to plan for LSU football.

A 7-6 record was enough to spark dramatic changes within the program. Head coach Brian Kelly was fired, and the offensive staff was not retained. Lane Kiffin was poached from Ole Miss to replace him and brought most of his offensive assistant coaches from Oxford to join him.

And that change doesn’t even include the 34 players who departed for the transfer portal, and the 42 players Kiffin brought in from the market this past winter.

LSU is in a completely different era as a program from the one Harold Perkins, Garrett Nussmeier or Mansoor Delane played under last fall. But that doesn’t mean the Tigers are lacking draftable players this year.

Delane is projected to be picked in the first round, and potentially in the top-10 as perhaps the top cornerback in the draft. Nussmeier will likely be selected on Day 2 as one of the top quarterbacks in the class. Overall, LSU was tied with Ohio State for third among FBS schools in players invited to the NFL Combine. Only Alabama and Texas A&M had more players in Indianapolis.

The talent is there, the games have been played and the predraft testing is all done. The only question that remains is where LSU’s top talent will land to begin their professional careers.

Here’s an up-to-date tracker on where every LSU football player is selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.
