Day one of the 2026 NFL Draft is officially in the books, and the Chicago Bears selected Oregon Safety Dillon Thieneman with the 25th overall pick, marking a big addition to the secondary.Â
With rounds two and three set to begin on Friday night, the Bears will have three selections, at 57th, 60th, and 89th overall, providing the franchise with another opportunity to add some more difference makers and long-term building blocks to the roster. In Ryan Poles fifth draft with the franchise, the primary goal is to build on the foundation that head coach Ben Johnson and his staff established last year, while providing the coaching staff with a chance to ensure that the roster takes a big step forward in 2026.Â
