Starting on Sunday, we brought you our annual consensus draft prospect ranking based on six lists from five sources: ESPN (Matt Miller and Jordan Reid), Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, Pro Football Network and Draftek. On Friday, we updated that list following the first round — and now with Day 3 in front of us, we’re taking our final look at the top 100 prospects still available.

Below the table, we’ll detail some hits (and misses) from Friday night’s picks. The biggest takeaway should be that draft media truly had little idea how the top 100 selections would unfold.

Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy, who averaged 12th in the expert rankings, is still waiting to hear his name called. McCoy missed the 2025 season recovering from a torn ACL, but it appears to be a cartilage issue in the same knee that is scaring teams off. Late on Friday, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported on why teams are concerned about McCoy’s career longevity.

22 ranked players who are in the top 100 are still on the board. This includes eight defensive backs who had second or third-round rankings — beginning with Miami cornerback Keionte Scott, our 52nd-ranked prospect. Arizona State defensive back Keith Abney II is the only other top-64-ranked player still available.

The night started with Ole Miss wideout De’Zhaun Stribling — the averaged No. 137 prospect — going to the San Francisco 49ers with the 33rd pick. Stribling was far from the biggest perceived reach of the evening. That honor goes to former LSU wide receiver Zavion Thomas. Despite an average draft ranking of 250, the Chicago Bears selected Thomas in round three with the 89th pick.

The Chiefs’ only selection of the night was taking former Oklahoma edge rusher R. Mason Thomas at No. 40 in round two. The consensus rankings had Thomas at 47. Available pass rushers with higher rankings who were available at the time were Texas A&M’s Cashius Howell (33), Missouri’s Zion Young (44), and Gabe Jacas of Illinois (45).

Kansas City has four scheduled selections for the draft’s final day:

Round 5 (176 — compensatory)

Round 6 (210 — from Los Angeles Rams)

Enjoy Day 3, and we will be back after the seventh round with our top 100 undrafted players.
