Rochester native and Illini WR Hank Beatty signs with Tennessee Titans as undrafted free agent.
Beatty was Illinois’ top wide out in 2025, leading them in receiving yards and was the ultimate gadget for OC Barry Lunney — Beatty also ran wildcat and threw a touchdown in trick plays for Illinois’ best offense in 15 years.
Beatty was also a top Big Ten punt returner for two seasons, which coaches said helped his NFL-stock.
Despite going undrafted, Illini coaches said multiple NFL teams reached out to them about landing Beatty.
He joins a Tennessee franchise led by former No. 1 overall pick QB Cam Ward, and they’re looking to supply him with weapons at wide out.
ESPN said Beatty had the best hands of any NFL Draft prospects, with zero dropped catches in 2025.
In college, Beatty was used as a slot receiver, and had a breakout season in 2025 after sitting behind players like Isaiah Williams and a loaded wide out room.
