Florida State cornerback Jerry Wilson is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers, per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back spent his senior season with FSU after transferring in from Houston. He began his collegiate career at Syracuse.
As a senior at FSU, he started in all 12 games. He had 42 tackles, a tackle for loss, three interceptions, three pass breakups, and a forced fumble. Wilson also turned in a strong 40-yard dash at FSU’s Pro Day leading up to the NFL Draft.
Prior to FSU, he played in 34 games with 13 starts over three seasons. He had 22 appearances and five starts at Syracuse over 2022 and 2023 seasons, while he had 12 appearances and eight starts at Houston in 2024. He recorded 61 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 10 pass breakups and five interceptions in his time with the Orange and Cougars.
