Indianapolis Colts’ DBs, Cam Bynum and Charvarius Ward, are changing their jersey numbers, the team announced.
Perhaps lost in the chaos that is NFL draft weekend, Indianapolis Colts’ free agent signees, Cam Bynum and Charvarius Ward, will be changing numbers, the team announced.
Originally, Bynum was going to wear No. 27. However, he has now decided to wear No. 0 and will be the first player in Colts‘ history to do so.
Ward, meanwhile, was initially going to wear No. 21 but will now be in No. 7. This was his number during his time with the San Francisco 49ers and had belonged to kicker Matt Gay when Ward arrived in Indianapolis.
However, after the team moved on from Gay and released him, the No. 7 became available.
Now, as far as jersey numbers go, we wait to see what the Colts’ incoming eight-man draft class will be wearing this season.
