The Baltimore Ravens are underway with their second phase of a three-year renovation project at M&T Bank Stadium.On Thursday, the Ravens took 11 News behind the scenes at the upgrades. A new gameday experience is in the works for the Ravens Flock.There’s also a new plan to bring fans in year-round. That plan centers around two large structures set to flank the gates at the North Plaza, one of which will have space for retail and hospitality, featuring a jersey customization shop. The other is an open-air tailgate and concert venue.”We’ve gotten a lot of feedback from our fans wanting more diverse merchandise, things in the stores. So, this will give us the opportunity to do that,” said Brad Downs, the Ravens’ senior vice president of marketing.So, even before the games begin, fans will be able to head to a pregame destination. It’s set to be complete in 2026.”This whole plaza gives the opportunity to bring different types of events to the stadium year-round, really,” Downs told 11 News.TICKETS: Get tickets to Baltimore Ravens games: SeatGeek | RavensAt Section 140, the stadium’s original ticket office will transform into a retail store.There will be dozens of new video displays throughout the stadium, including a 216-foot display at Gate A.”Over the next two years, all of the TVs within the concourses are going to be replaced,” Downs told 11 News.There are three new club memberships for PSL owners, including “The Raven,” which is near the 50-yard line on the north side of the stadium.”The ceiling is going to have the words of the poem,” Downs told 11 News.Behind the west end zone is the “Champions Club,” which has two bars celebrating each of the Ravens’ Super Bowl victories so far.”We’ll have some memorabilia displayed from each of those Super Bowls, players, things like that,” Downs told 11 News.”The Trust,” located on the stadium’s south side, offers an exclusive view.”There will be glass walls, so guests of this club will be able to watch the guys come in and out through the 50-yard line tunnel,” Downs told 11 News.There are also Legends suite holders, who can take in the game from seats directly on the field in the west end zone.Ravens President Sashi Brown told 11 News it’s all to redefine the fan experience.”We are really excited about where M&T Bank Stadium sits today, and with these additional elements that are provided by the renovation, a joint venture between us and the state, we think it positions us to be one of the best, if not the best stadium in the NFL for a long time,” Brown told 11 News.Nearly all of the upgrades are set to open this year, with the rest opening in 2026.
