Michigan beat out big SEC teams for Jenkins
Finalists for Jenkins’ recruitment included Vanderbilt, Alabama, Texas, Houston and SMU. Jenkins was offered by Michigan back in February by new cornerbacks coach Jernaro Gilford. This is the second four-star prospect Gilford has landed a commitment from in the past month, along with cornerback Darius Johnson on May 18.
Jenkins already loves Ann Arbor
“The way the city supports the football program as a whole no matter who you are really stood out to me,” Jenkins said.
