The media got to watch Wednesday’s practice, which was held outside in the sweltering New Orleans heat.
Head coach Kellen Moore had his team work on third down for a good portion of practice.
Wide receiver Chris Olave did not practice again.
Moore said they were being careful with their star receiver since his season ended because of a blood clot.
Running back Alvin Kamara was also missing from the final week of OTAs.
Kamara only showed up for the June 3 practice.
The Saints’ all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns is under contract for the 2026 season, and Moore expects him to be with the team.
Moore understands there is a business side to this entire situation when it comes to Kamara’s contract.
Kamara, who will turn 31 this July, is entering his 10th season and can still help the Saints and the running back room.
One guy who was happy to have Kamara around last week is newly acquired running back Travis Etienne.

While Kamara was at the University of Tennessee, Etienne was recruited to play for the Volunteers by then-head coach Butch Jones.

“I feel like I try to mirror my game after him in some ways like that.
