If you didn’t already hear, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift got married over the weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The event was flooded with A-list celebrities, and as expected, Kelce’s longtime Kansas City Chiefs teammate, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was in attendance alongside his wife, Brittany.
Kelce and Swift hosted a rehearsal dinner with guests on Thursday night, and the wedding took place in the mid-to-late afternoon on Saturday.
Mahomes shared some photos from the wedding, not offering any sneak peeks of Kelce and Swift themselves, which appeared to be strictly prohibited under the couple’s and venue’s rules. Instead, he showed what he and his wife wore to the ceremony.
Mahomes wore a navy blue tuxedo, while Brittany sported a stunning sky-blue gown.
The relationship between Kelce and Swift began to develop and go public around 2023, with Mahomes front and center throughout it all, watching one of his closest teammates and business partners find his wife.
“It’s been awesome to see their relationship grow,” Mahomes said back in 2024. “Taylor is a great person.
“She’s top-tier at her profession, and to see how she drives and she becomes that — dude, it’s really cool to hear about and to see, and now I have a first-hand look at that through Brittany and Travis’ eyes,” he added.
Swift has been attending Chiefs games for several years now and has often sat alongside Brittany at many of them.
That likely won’t change much this season, as Kelce, at age 36, made the decision not to retire and instead signed a new three-year contract with the Chiefs, bringing him back for what will be his 14th NFL season — all of which he has spent in Kansas City.
