The Denver Broncos kicked off voluntary organized team activities last week with strong attendance.
Broncos inside linebacker Alex Singleton, who is working his way back from a knee injury, was present, as was wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who is entering the final year of his contract.
Among the absences when media were allowed to attend last Thursday were defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers and cornerback Pat Surtain. JFM’s agent has clarified that the lineman will report for mandatory minicamp next week. PS2 will presumably also attend the mandatory camp, if not the next session of OTAs next week.
On the injury front, linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) and long snapper Mitchell Fraboni (back) remain sidelined.
The list of players not practicing for unknown reasons includes safety JL Skinner, defensive lineman Kristian Williams, tight end Cole Fotheringham, wide receiver AT Perry and safety Sam Franklin.
The Broncos will hold a second round of OTAs from June 3-5 (full offseason schedule).
