The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Jordan Love came up short of their goals during the 2024 NFL season. After suffering a massive injury scare in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Love was unable to take the big leap forward that fans were expecting to see from him.

When all was said and done, Love played in 15 games, completing 63.1% of his pass attempts for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He only rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown.

Behind his performance, the team compiled an 11-6 record, but were quickly eliminated by the Eagles in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Back in his first full year as the starting quarterback for the Packers, Love threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, while completing 64.2% of his passes in 17 games.

Clearly, there was a step back in his production. That has caused some concern in Green Bay.

RotoWire has now released their projections for Love in 2025. They see the 26-year-old quarterback throwing for 3,907 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions to go along with a 63.7% completion rate, 166 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns.

Those projections have sparked major questions about the Packers.

Love’s projections in 2025 aren’t bad, but are they good enough to be an elite Super Bowl contender? They still aren’t as good as what he produced in 2023.

Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay front office provided Love with more weapons in the 2025 NFL draft. The Packers went out and drafted Texas star Matthew Golden in the first round and also brought in TCU standout Savion Williams in the third round.

With the new weapons in town, Love should exceed the projections given by RotoWire, but the pressure is on him to live up to the massive four-year, $220 million contract extension before the 2024 season.
