Listen, I know he was a train wreck at left tackle his rookie year.
And there is also an argument for not weakening the left guard position to fill a hole at right tackle.
But it seems to me that we have a lot of younger players like Kahlil Benson and Esa Pole who might be better suited to shifting inside to guard. Plus, the Chiefs traded for Josh Ezeudu yesterday.
Now that Kingsley is a little older and more seasoned, is it worth giving him a look on the right side of the line?
If Andy Reid and the Chiefs were strongly considering this, I think they probably would have already done it.
But if we are talking about putting the best five guys on the field, this could be a path to doing it.
Then again, who knows? Maybe Kingsley will never be a tackle in this league, and that’s okay too.
