The New York Jets are home in East Rutherford, New Jersey to take on the Green Bay Packers in the Jets’ 2026 home opener. The Jets will be looking to start the season 2-0 for the first time since 2015. Not coincidentally, 2015 was the Jets’ last winning season.

Despite the Packers’ superb franchise history, the Jets have historically had their way with them. The Jets are 9-5 all time against the Packers, including a 27 -10 thrashing of the Packers the last time these two teams faced each other in 2022. The Packers opened their 2026 campaign with an ugly 39 -22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. They will be looking to avoid the dreaded 0-2 start, from which few teams recover to make the playoffs.
