One of the fun things about the Chiefs through the first two games of the season is you never really know who\u2019s going to get the ball.<\/p>\n

Kansas City talked a lot last season about wanting to spread the ball around. But more often than not, it was the same few guys getting the ball.<\/p>\n

So far this year, things look a little different.<\/p>\n

In Sunday\u2019s 33-30 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts, three different players caught touchdown passes from Patrick Mahomes.<\/p>\n

Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy each found the end zone, while rookie Jalen Royals hauled in the first touchdown of his NFL career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the last read in the progression, and, you know, he threw it to me,\u201d Royals said. \u201cOnce-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Always your first touchdown is the best touchdown.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s not just the guys catching the ball who are feeding off each other.<\/p>\n

Guard Trey Smith said seeing the effort from the skill players makes the offensive linemen want to keep working for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see the little guys out there balling, they\u2019re hustling, they\u2019re giving their all,\u201d Smith said. \u201cSo you want to support them any way you can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce said that kind of effort is spreading throughout the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys were playing their tails off for the guys next to them, and that\u2019s why I love this team right now,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cWe\u2019re in a zone right now where everybody\u2019s feeding off each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, who\u2019s going to be the next Chief to score a touchdown?<\/p>\n

Nobody knows. And through two games, that\u2019s part of what\u2019s making this offense fun to watch.<\/p>\n
