Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images | IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"b0\">The Colts&#8217; star running back showed today why he not only deserves as many touches as possible, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/colts\/onsi\/6-instant-observations-on-colts-win-over-commanders-has-indy-s-outlook-changed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">why the offense needs to lean on him<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"b5\">Jonathan Taylor rushed for two of the Colts&#8217; three touchdowns against Washington, with his 95 rushing yards on 20 carries (4.8 ypc) paving the way.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"ba\">The Colts were scoring at such an efficient rate last season because they had a healthy offense that complemented itself well, but that has not been the case so far this season. Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images | IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-34\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"fv\">The Colts&#8217; starting quarterback has become turnover-prone as of late, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/colts\/onsi\/6-instant-observations-on-colts-win-over-commanders-has-indy-s-outlook-changed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">that didn&#8217;t stop against the Washington Commanders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-35\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"g0\">In Week 4, Jones went 19-34 (55.9%) for 143 passing yards, one interception, was sacked twice, had one rushing TD, and lost a fumble.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-36\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"g5\">Jones definitely settled in down the stretch after the Colts began feeding running back Jonathan Taylor, but Indianapolis still won in spite of his performance.
