Cincinnati Bengals\u2019 star Ja\u2019Marr Chase suffered a concussion on Sunday following a facemask and a brutal hit to follow it up. He left the game after being slung to the turf by his facemask before another defender came in and made Chase\u2019s head hit the turf hard.<\/p>\n
These things happen in football, but some comments from former Jacksonville Jaguars players on X were disgusting, to say the least.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Jags didn\u2019t bruise one of Chase\u2019s muscles. They didn\u2019t sprain one of his joints. Even if they did something of that nature, applauding the injuring of another player on its own is quite telling.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Bengals need to do something. It\u2019s sending the wrong message to fans, and perhaps the locker room, to keep sending that effort level out on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n
