Appearing on teammate<\/a> Maxx Crosby\u2019s The Rush Podcast, Raiders\u2019 center Jackson Powers-Johnson was asked about a moment that stuck with him and the 2024 second-round pick from Oregon pointed to a Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers when he gave up his first sack (ever) to Steelers\u2019 star defensive tackle Cam Heyward.<\/p>\nJohnson he wasn\u2019t beat on the play and it was his fault. \u201cHe didn\u2019t beat me. I beat myself. I overset,\u201d Powers-Johnson said. He went to say Heyward talked a lot after the play and he wants to see him again.<\/p>\n
Of course, Heyward caught wind of Powers-Johnson\u2019s words and he had a response on his own podcast, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, which is powered by Vox Media. Heyward said he beat the rookie on multiple occasions in the Steelers\u2019 32-13 road win.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat wasn\u2019t the first time he got beat. I\u2019m going to be honest,\u201d Heyward said.<\/p>\n
