Neighbors, now we\u2019ve got bad blood.<\/p>\n
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s Ohio neighbors blasted the \u201cabsentee\u201d couple during a village planning meeting last month \u2014 and called their presence a \u201ctremendous blow\u201d to the community\u2019s \u201cpeace and quiet\u201d \u2014 according to transcripts obtained by the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n The neighbors, notably, attempted to block the newlyweds\u2019 security-motivated plans<\/a> last month to erect fencing and plant trees around their $5 million mansion in Bratenahl.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift (pictured above on May 16) and Travis Kelce\u2019s Ohio neighbors are railing against the allegedly \u201cabsentee\u201d couple\u2019s mansion plans. GC Images<\/p>\n In a meeting last month, the woman next door called the pair a \u201ctremendous blow\u201d to the community\u2019s \u201cpeace and quiet.\u201d FOX<\/p>\n Although the Bratenahl Architectural Review Board approved a six-foot fence in September, neighbors raised concerns about the couple\u2019s landscaping plans during a Tuesday meeting. <\/p>\n Katherine Bolton, who has lived next door for more than three decades, predicted at the second meeting that \u201ccatastrophic sewer backups\u201d would occur if Kelce, 37, and Swift, 36, planted evergreens near the old sewage line their properties share.<\/p>\n She told fellow attendees she was quoted a hefty $75,000 to line it against roots, a dilemma she is discussing with the A-listers\u2019 attorney.<\/p>\n \u201cThis applicant may decide to sell her house next year, maybe move on and buy another house,\u201d Bolton fumed.<\/p>\n At another meeting Tuesday, the individual expressed her disapproval of planned landscaping that she predicted will cause \u201ccatastrophic sewage backups.\u201d Google Maps<\/p>\n She is in contact with the A-listers\u2019 attorney over the dilemma. GC Images<\/p>\n He noted that their original plan had already been scaled down from an eight-foot fence surrounding the property to a six-foot one that stops short of Lake Erie.<\/p>\n Kutz listed the efforts the stars, who wed in July<\/a>, have made \u201cjust to show that [they\u2019re] good neighbors,\u201d from having the sewage line jetted and cleaned \u201cwithout asking for help\u201d to adding a gate for Bauernschmidt, who felt \u201cclosed off.\u201d<\/p>\n A third plan will be presented at a future meeting \u2014 but the board did approve the landscaping in front of the estate on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Reps for Swift and Kelce did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n The planner hired by Kelce and Swift (pictured above on March 26) defended the duo at the meeting.
