Last week, he was seen doing stretches near the rest of the team during warmups before being unable to participate in practice. I would guess he\u2019s further along than Barkley, who wasn\u2019t spotted at practices last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Getting either player back \u2014 let alone both \u2014 would be a positive development for what\u2019s arguably the worst offense in the NFL right now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Barkley\u2019s return would be especially ideal since the Eagles will be without RB2 Tank Bigsby (who\u2019s on injured reserve) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bleedinggreennation.com\/philadelphia-eagles-injuries\/186623\/will-shipley-injury-eagles-running-back-could-miss-multiple-games\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RB3 Will Shipley (who suffered a foot injury on Sunday).<\/a> If Barkley can\u2019t suit up, the Eagles\u2019 three running backs will be: Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele, and Jaydon Blue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">At the same time, you don\u2019t want to see the Eagles rushing these players back before they\u2019re truly ready to play or else they risk re-aggravating those hammy injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Also, it\u2019s not exactly like the Eagles were crushing it on offense prior to Barkley and Smith getting hurt. Their returns alone will not fix the issues that are plaguing this team. But it certainly works towards pointing the team back in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Eagles will hold their first practice in the lead-up to the Panthers game on Wednesday.
