He\u2019s cleared 170 rushing yards in two of his four games, averaging an astounding 6.2 yards per carry. Plus, he\u2019s been a threat as a pass catcher, reeling in 12 of his 19 targets for 84 yards and two more touchdowns.\u00a0<\/p>\n This is actually a tough matchup for Walker, as the Chargers are allowing just 3.8 yards per carry and are sixth in the NFL in EPA\/Rush on defense.\u00a0<\/p>\n I expect a massive workload for the veteran back on Sunday \u2013 he has 20 or more touches in every game \u2013 as the Chiefs look to move to 5-0.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chargers vs. Chiefs Prediction and Pick<\/p>\n The Chargers\u2019 offense is an absolute mess right now, ranking 32nd in the NFL in EPA\/Play and 28th in success rate through five weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n It\u2019s a major reason why this team has yet to cover the spread, and Herbert has thrown more picks than he has touchdowns in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n Things won\u2019t get any easier on the road in Kansas City, especially since the team\u2019s top three wide receivers (Ladd McConkey, Tre Harris and Quentin Johnston) are all banged up and tackle Rashawn Slater is on injured reserve.<\/p>\n The Chiefs have some quality wins this season, including a blowout of Denver at home in Week 1.
